Fate has a way of working things out .
love this book
Good read with spirit and spice. A few twists in the story made me keep reading and try to figure out the climax. Good fun.
This is a good one that has a lovely romance. I did wish the ending had carried a little further with the pair because I'd love to know what his father told her uncle.
Octavia is a jaguar shifter that like to get out of the city and relax in her little cabin in the woods. Luke is a jaguar shifter also, he had to shift in order to escape a fire. When he see Octavia he is trapped in his jaguar form and cannot figure out how to shift back into human form. This story has bigotry, lies, snobs, fire and love.
Zoe Chant is a good paranormal shapeshifter writer with interesting stories. Sometimes the stories become cloudy in the detail.But I enjoyed all those I read and did not want to stop until the story was concluded. HOWEVER, the endings were too abrupt. She should have continued to develop the endings-- like what happened after the epilogue. There should have been more of the story.
Uncle Nico decides Luke isn't good enough for the Mateo heiress. His nefarious plot to part them is found out and HEA occurs. Really liked the plot and almost thought the Tucson building fire was on Nico's orders. I didn't like him as much as the pair of Jaguar shifters. Stayed up late reading the book, was broken hearted I couldn't finish it. Had to wait until the next morning to finish it. Could hardly wait.
